Shetland News: New York library book…returned to Lerwick?
A spokesperson for the New York Public Library said: “It is clear that Peppa missed the UK and found her way back home for a visit – Scotland being a wonderful train ride away from England while New York is quite further. We hope she and the person who checked the book out enjoyed their travels.”
Catherine Jeromson, team leader for reader services at the Shetland Library, responded: “We’re unsure of who deposited the book into our outdoor book returns bin, but there is one thing for certain – after the lengthy distance she has travelled, it must be Bedtime for Peppa!”
